Privacy
- Your National ID card number is used only as your username and to stop duplicate accounts. We store a protected code instead of the number itself, so we cannot read your ID number back from our database. It is never shown publicly.
- Your display name, section and Scout group are shown on the public leaderboard. Your full name is not shown publicly.
- To prevent abuse we keep your IP address for a short time. It is deleted with all other data.
- We store a protected code for your password. We cannot read your password back from our database.
- Cub Scouts must register with help from a parent, guardian or Scout Leader.
- Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- All player data will be permanently deleted by 25 October 2026, after the final leaderboard is announced. The secret used to protect IDs is deleted when the event data is deleted. We keep only totals (for example, number of players per section) for our report to the Scout Association of Maldives.
- This quiz is developed by the 14th Malé Scout Group for National JOTA-JOTI 2026. Questions: contact the 14th Malé Rover Crew through scoutsofthaajuddeen.com.
